My Newborn Photography studio based in the Forest of Dean is a peaceful and idyllic spot where you’ll feel at ease during the whole process.

The style of newborn portraiture is relaxed newborn baby posing, although I gently pose the baby into certain positions it is not over stylised in terms of additional elements, your newborn baby is already perfect, why add anything else?!

During every session I combine both parents and or older siblings into as many photos as possible, obviously I take lots of the baby on their own but when your child looks back in years to come, they will want to see their parents, not just themselves as a baby!

I have a growing Mummy wardrobe for any Mummy to use, with your changing shape as a new mum you never quite feel too sure of what to wear, so just take the stress out of the decisions and borrow what is on hand at the studio.

My baby props are generally neutral natural colours where baby can be totally naked or in one of my woollen nappy covers along with wraps, blankets and swaddles.

I love combining parents in the galleries and they are always the favourite images for myself!

With my style of posing both baby, parents and siblings I feel the images are both timeless and natural.

I especially want to make sure all parents enjoy the session itself, as well as the final photos so there is plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits on hand during the session! We take each session at babies pace with plenty of time to stop for feeds, nappy changes or just a little cuddle.

My newborn photography sessions are currently £49 for the sitting fee then £10 per digital file, however these prices will be increasing in Autumn 2021. If you’re expecting a baby later on in the year or next year then feel free to secure these prices before the increase. Shoots can be used any time and Gift Vouchers are available.

The very early baby sessions are recommended for when baby is 7-12 days old, however I honour all newborn sessions until baby is around 4/5 months old.
